Seamariner are currently on the search for a Specialist Practitioner, with a Marine Engineering background, who is ready to join our clients team of staff at their college based in the North West of England. The successful candidate will be required to co-ordinate and assist in the development of effective learning for students. This will involve facilitating learning and training across all levels of qualifications and modes of attendance offered within the Curriculum area.

  • Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Experience required:

    It will be essential to the client for the candidate to have practical experience in the relevant discipline. Further desirable, but not required experience, would be as follows: experience of working within the Further/Higher Education Sector, Experience in supporting students and experience of internal verification.

  • Qualifications required:

    The client has listed the following qualifications as essential: 1. Appropriate Technical Qualification to NVQ LV3, or applicable professional experience. 2. Will need to successfully complete AET qualification within a year of appointment. 3. GCSE at grade C or above, or willing to obtain within year of appointment. 4. Assessor Award or to start this qualification within the first year of job. The client has also said it would be desirable for the candidate to hold a Relevant Vocational Qualification at level 5, although this is not essential.
