The Contracts / HSEQ Manager will work closely with the Head Of Operations & Technical

Manager and be responsible for the managed contract at the Lowestoft facility. The role will include a requirement to interface heavily with key partners to ensure service delivery and include being point of direct contact for our client. The successful candidate will be directly responsible for contract adherence and delivery of service plus all aspects of the Health & Safety life cycle. Suitable candidates must have at least 5 years shorebased experience in a senior role including both contract management and Maritime Health & Safety and be able to demonstrate strong leadership along with knowledge of research/fishing vessels and shipping operations.

  • Experience required:

    Suitable candidate will ideally have the following ➢ Proven background in Contract Management ideally within a Maritime environment at a senior managerial level ➢ HSE qualification to Diploma/Degree level (NEBOSH international Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent) ➢ Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position and ideally within the Maritime industry ➢ Marine background having served in the rank of Master, Chief Officer or Chief Engineer ➢ Certified as an ISM / ISO Lead auditor ➢ CQI / IRCA Certified to Practitioner or Professional Level ➢ Experience in leading critical incident investigations ➢ Good computer literacy – Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & Teams) ➢ Understanding of LOLER regulations would be very advantageous ➢ Ability to integrate & work within a team.
